If you would like to "show off" and don't mind having your expensive tires go up in smoke, then just get a line lock. They're not expensive and they are relatively easy to install.
It taps into your braking hydraulics so when you flick the switch inside (mine was mounted in the ashtray) , it allows you to keep your front brakes on (keeping the car stationary), while eliminating brake pressure to the rears, thus allowing the drive wheels to spin freely. You also do not keep your foot on the brake when doing a burnout with a line lock. I'd suggest it's definitely worth the investment - it'll pay for itself with less wear on the clutch and also preserving your rear brakes! Have fun and do it safely. Best regards, Elie

Take T/C off...put the car in reverse....get rolling about 5mph and push in the clutch engage 1st. Bring the rev's up to 4500rpm and dump the clutch.

It was a Dodge, nothing wrong with that burnout.
