Points from ban?

I noticed on my UserCP I have 3 points associated with the 10 day "vacation" I got in June.

What does that mean? Is my insurance going to go up? Can I save up points and turn them in for rewards?

Just curious...

Well, a Mod said something during a recent thread saying that 4 points = permaban...Not sure how strictly that's enforced, though.

edit: Here's the link where I saw this. Page 2, by GTAHAVIT

What if the points are expired, do they still count against you?

You could always insult someone in a vulgar way or start a thread with porn in it if you want to catch up.

No.

Most sites use the infraction points to lead up to bans. Like at GMI, a trolling infraction = 10 points. Gain 20 points and the system automatically bans you.
