The welds are top notch, and Trackspec Motorsports (who sells the cage) has a warranty that states if their cage fails tech, they will buy it back...

As was mentioned earlier, the harness bar has to be welded to the main hoop... PERIOD...

My cage is installed as a bolted in cage and then we are welding the doubler plates... I now have the rear seat re-installed though I only have it in for cosmetics and sound deadening... I have removed all traces of seatbelts from the rear... as there will be NO ONE riding in the back...
How long was the time from order to delivery? and are you doing a 5 way belt?

RPM Roll Bars Available thru Trackspec Motorsports!

Hey Guys! The RPM roll cage is the only 100% NHRA legal bolt in roll cage available for the 5th gen camaros that comes with a "Pass tech buy back GUARANTEE!"

What makes RPM Roll Bars Different?
  • NHRA LEGAL 2010-2011 Camaro 10.0-11.49 bolt in roll cage!
  • NHRA LEGAL Door swing out. Door swing out is completely removable for street driving and easily installs in seconds at the track!
  • NHRA LEGAL Bolt in shoulder seat belt mounts
  • Mild Steel or Lightweight Chromoly Mandrel Bent Tubing 1.75"
  • CAD engineered and precision welded robotically
  • Each roll bar contains a manufactured chassis tag including date and serial number to prove authenticity and certification.
  • Completely removable and 100% welded. This bar comes ready to bolt in, fully powder coated!. When reselling the vehicle, removal is simple and you can even resell the roll bar!
  • 5 Point roll bar includes driver side swing out door bar only. Add Passenger door bar in options!
  • Factory seat remains fully adjustable. Custom designed for each application, these Roll Bars allow for complete seat adjustment front to rear!
  • Custom engineered to aesthetically follow factory interior lines and flow.
There are a bunch of RPM cages running around out there and we have YET to honor our buy back guarantee.. which is a great thing! There are several camaro5 members with RPM cages

Aside from being 100% NHRA legal from every aspect from the door bars, main hoop, to the harness bar, these Bolt in roll cages are available in just about any custom color imaginable, including the very popular Carbon Fiber hydro dip!

Here are some pics! Simsters and Texas Shanes shown below, both camaro5 members.

Hey, did you get that cage certified yet? They told me at the track that over 135 mph you need the cage/bar to be certified.
Also, how did the weld take to the RPM bar. My guy said it's better to do the 8 or 10 point all at one shot opposed to adding it later on. I have no intention on adding to my roll bar so I was just curious.

Mine took a little bit longer than normal since I ordered the 8 point... The halo and the front down tubes had to be built. It then went to coating... and the finish is simply amazing...

I think from order to delivery took about four weeks... Yes, I will be running a five point harness... With the straight five or six point roll bar, it would be shipped quicker most likely... I'm not sure...

The guys that built it at RPM have been amazing as well... I had one little issue and called them and it was taken care of immediately... I called John, he callled RPM, and they called me within five minutes and had the answers I needed... I'm actually headed to Portland Oregon the end of the month to complete the 8 point install... Custom work that the guys at RPM and I discussed... Pictures of the work when it's finished...

Check in with John at TrackSpec Motorsports... Great Guy and top notch service... lol, he even sent me a Camaro Now magazine to read while I was recuperating from my knee surgery... Not many folks would do that...

Thanks Rob for the shout out! Tim is very excited in anticipation for your visit! Be sure to check out their 55' Chevy Tube Chassis car they are building, its coming along quite well!

The RPM cage has also been featured on "Two Guys Garage" and also
Chevy High Performance magazine as seen below.

Two Guys Garage link:

Some more pics! See Mudderfingers(beautiful photography!) gorgeous IOM custom paint match and Loud Pedals Carbon fiber hydro.

Feel free to shoot us an email, call or PM if interested. Let us know what options you are looking for and we'll get a quote out to you.

Delivery is at about 3 weeks until its crated on a pallet and shipped out to you. The longest process is coating at this point...but as you can see in the pics, its well worth the wait for the quality of finish!

Absolutely correct analysis, couldnt agree more!

It comes as a certified cage... with the tag and all...riveted to the main hoop... I am just going to take mine to the manufacturer to get a bit of custom fabricating we discussed performed... The main hoop has the tag on it... with date of manufacture and the serial number...

I'm sure it will be inspected for conformity but I'm not worried about that at all... My cage is mild steel, and the only part welded so far are the footings. We installed it as a bolt in and then welded the interior footings. Due to the slight change the guys at RPM and I discussed, I'm taking it to their shop for the finishing work... It'll be a long drive but well worth it...

My wife will hopefully fly up and meet me in Portland or in Seattle, and then we will take a few days and go up into Canada for some sight seeing and to visit with Mercuryman. I'll put her on a plane and then I'll drive home... She can't miss that much work this time of the year and the drive is too far with her lower back issues... I'll get up there in 2.5 days or so and take four or five to get home after dropping her at the airport...

I'll be sure to do that... My physical therapist and I settled on three weeks of work prior to driving up there, so, I'm hoping to be up there around the first week of October or so...

thats not the required nhra cert. its got to be inspected by a nhra inspector to get the nhra tag every few years.

99.9% of the tracks in country will never even look to see or care if a six pt. roll bar is certified. The only time they care about certifying is when you are faster than 9.99sec. in the qtr.
