I honestly like both and will have to see them in person before I could decide....
The dark colors look menacing on the ZL1 but I love the way the contrast of colors just pops out with the silver/black combo. |

Do you guys think GM has lowered the front end of the ZL1? I was showing the wife the Imperial Blue picture yesterday and her first comment . . . "that front end is going to hit every speed bump, RR track, basically any high spot in the road, and get torn up in no time flat." Then she shruggs and says, "It's your car" (ouch).
I want some custom striping but honestly, I havent figured out yet what will look good. With the new hood arrangement, anything other than the wide stripe GM has been showing will be difficult to do. Guess I am not good at thinking out of the box. |

Between silver and blue, I say the IBM is the hotter of the two.
It's just gorgeous in the sunshine up close and there is still a subtle difference to highlight the black accents in the daytime, but at night you get to have a black car. It's a two color paint job. One for daytime, another for night, both sinister and beautiful. That's how I like my women and my cars. BTW, Dragoneye, thanks for the clarification on that SEMA flush exhaust question. I didn't get around to thanking you on that thread. .

I definitely think so. They lowered the car by a few mm...but that fascia definitely seems to be lower to the ground to me. Almost...Corvette-low.

The stance on the IBM car is way mean, but I prefer the contrast of the lighter cars. I like the white ZL1 best myself.

I prefer the silver because of the carbon fiber insert contrast. On IBM, it almost disappears with no contrast.

I've been tossing this around as well....the insert looks killer with white, red and silver.
The IBM sure looks mean And classy, I think the chrome wheels would really set that color off. How about this- the scoop for 2012 grey is...... CGM will be replaced with Taupe Grey, as on the Malibu and Cruze. Need to check that color out at a dealer.. I'm all over the place as to color choice

IF CGM is actually replaced by Taupe Grey Metallic, here is what the new color looks like on the Cruze:

I even LOVE white on ZL1 (and CAMARO in general) and I almost never like white on a car.
I vote IBM, Dragon'. I'm stuck between that and CGM (or the future replacement).

The Well Done goes to every man and woman that has served and their families for the sacrifices they make. Thank you is not good enough. For those that missed it.
Shno suggested I watch this a month or two ago. I watched the RESTREPO documentary last night. :flag1: http://restrepothemovie.com/ is available for download on NetFlix. Make the time to watch it. |
