Ted,
I had a computer malfunction while trying to update the firmware after i downloaded my stock tune... the tuner lost the operating system. i am going to borrow a friend's computer Friday and call sct to get them to fix it. i am hoping to have my stock file emailed to you by noon central time.

How long should it take to get the tune back? Since i am using a friends computer, i'd like to be able to only bug her as long as i have to.

BTW, Nick was awesome in getting me the answers i need in regards to contacting sct about the operating system on the tuner and help with trying to link to my MAC (which i abandoned when my friend offered her computer).

Great service so far...

Hey Ted,

USPS dropped the ball and did not deliver it today

so I hope it will show up on Friday. After work I will plug it in and see if the computer is locked. If not hope to be able to get a start on a base tune for Saturday.

Ted,

You seem to favor the SCT x3 tuner. I have been doing my research and had decided on the Trinity. I see that you guys sell that as well. Can i get custom tunes through you for the trinity or only for the SCT. What i like about the trinity is that i can put the camaro back to stock and then put it on my suburban for the gas mileage during long trips. What are your suggestions?

I do Prefer SCT because of it's UNLIMITED Ability to tune every combination.

Diablo is a fine product but has it's limitations.

Is your car Auto or Stick?

Yes I do Custom remote tuning with Diablo Predator and Trinity.

Trinity is a really cool product I wish Diablo would Give us access to all the tables necessary to do complete tunes.

Sorry Ted, Its the 2012 A6. i want to be able to use it on my Suburban but at the same time dont want to limit myself if the difference in custom tunes between the trinity and SCT is that great. Nor do i want to buy two different tuners. i understand that the SCT allows you to make more changes, but is the dropoff between that and the Trinity a lot? Is there support for SCT for the 2012 SS yet?

We have 2012 Camaro support with SCT and A6 Support with SCT.

Still no A6 Support from Diablo for us custom tuners.

You need an SCT X3 for your Camaro, the trinity will be fine for the Sub.

I got my tune from Ted last week, and was a little disappointed at first, as it didn't seem to change much on a short ride right after installing it. I got up the next morning and drove to work, Holy Batshit! It ran like a raped ape!! It shifts like never before, especially when it is put in Sports mode. When shifting manually under hard acceleration it spins the tires shifting from 1st to 2nd, and chirps the tires when going from 2nd to 3rd ! It is an amazing difference! Ted gets right to work on getting your tunes back to you lightning fast, and he communicates thoroughly with you to make sure you are satisfied with the results. He personally takes care of his customers, it's no wonder why his company is doing so well. Thanx Ted!!
I even won two trophy's with the car last Sunday!!

Spoiler alert: I know almost nothing about tunes and engines, I just love going fast. So my question is, would this be something I should by for my LFX 2012? I have several smaller upgrades to the engine including new full catback exhaust ported throttle and CAI with the intentions of acquiring new headers in the near future. So is it worth it for a tune? How much of a difference will I notice? Any feedback is welcome

Currently I do not have a cost effective way to Remote tune the V6 Model.

We are tuning them Here on our dyno.

When SCT Releases the software for the V6 We will be offering this service.
