Need help with a cam spec
Looking to do a cam swap. Can anyone recommend a good cam spec? Of course I want to max my hp but I am more into the sound! I want it very lumpy and old school sounding. I currently have ram air induction, 4:11 gears, most of the rear suspension upgrades and corsa cat back exhaust. I plan on doing the headers and port the heads at the same time as the cam. I have heard that the cam manufacture can make a difference in the sound and I only want to do the job once! All recommendations appreciated.

I love my TSP 231/236. Jannetty 470rwhp, TSP and the G6X3 are all great choices. You can listen to the 231/236 in my build thread in the sig.

im putting in a 146-460-11 from comp cams, they have anything you want. but took me forever to pick right one. talk to everyone you can. but it all depends on how you drive it, mine will be hard to drive on street.
its 4.11:1 gears fyi |

TSP 231 236 here. Made 454 RWHP and sounds nasty. the LG G6X3 is wicked too. . My car sounds like an old school 1st gen camaro. I love it

Give us a call & we can get you lots of data on camshaft choices. You can also checkout our website, it gives detailed engine & chassis dyno data so you can compare our camshafts. Not too much bigger. The 231/236 has a bit better street manners though.
