I'm hopin' this works out for ya M8... I'm holding out for something along these lines. I know this one doesn't work for our engine but, I'm hoping CPR develops one that is!

I wanted to add that surface tension and boundry layer are 2 different things.

Here are a few shots of the heads themselves. They do have about the same amount of extra material as the intake did.
In the future I will probably match them as well but for now I just bolted on the new intake.

The butt dyno says YES! It does make a difference you can feel!

The car just revs more freely. I can feel power gains starting at 2000 rpms and all the way up. Anytime acceleration is needed, like climbing a grade for instance, less pedal is required to produce the same amount of power.

Will update further as I get more miles on it.

Welp...I'm 'officially' excited now lol. Good work man!!

The technical side of me wants to ask...if the heads have the same amount of material on the inside of the gasket as the manifold does...does it really matter if the intake manifold is now able to provide more air, if the heads can't take it all in? (if that even makes sense lol)

But from your account...it works and thats all that really matters!
