You need to be specific, MY68RS....do DRL bulbs count? Subframe bushings?....
![]() I had to say "yes"...because I will change some things (assuming, of course, I can get it)...but no plans for major modifications, here. |

Yes- headers, exhaust, intake, pulley, tune...it's too easy to pick up 100-150 more hp.

If I end with a ZL1 instead of a 'Vette, then yes, I intend to make it a fully forged, ported heads, whippled monster! Actually, for that matter, 'Vette or Camaro, the end result will be the same; whippled street monster. There will always be someone faster, but it will still be a beast when I am done.

What do you guys think about a carbon fiber driveshaft? Save at least ten pounds, and like the wheels, that's reciprocating weight, so the effect of weight savings is multiplied. but $1000.00 isn't cheap. .

The car could use some weight savings and that would be a good way to do it. Like you said, reciprocating weight and it's not something that would make the car any less comfortable, like pulling stuff out of the interior.

I like the CF driveshaft idea. I was hoping for an aluminum engine and IRS cradle with some forged aluminum control arms, too. It's not looking like that's going to happen, but that hasn't changed my mind in the least
