Sheesh I just read it, that is horrible. I would deff get a new hood and start over.

That is what their body guy is recommending. He said to strip it totally would be just a huge PIA and hours of labor and that a new hood would be just as cost efficient and much quicker and easier

I used to do paint and body work and owned a few shops. Just get the new hood and start over because these hood are alluminum and are a pain to work out.
