I'd be to afraid to go past 25% lol....I'd maybe try the others for fun, but not leave it there.

Final impressions of the day:
If you want to get the most out of your engine, run premium! The initial tune I noticed a little power gains, but mostly what I have felt lately is using different fuel. Transmission firmness if anything was worth all the money from this tune. I only set to 25% and it felt awesome. Their is constant pull in-between shifts and man does the car pull hard! It's so much quicker and more responsive. I have no plans to mess with shift points and rev limits... Can't say I personally trust it. Over all I'm happy. My only mods I have and are happy with is intake and axle back exhaust. For those with this set up, this is the tune for you in my opinion. It's a pretty neat device with lots of in hand options. If I had more mods I would go with Trifecta to get the best set up. Like I stated I set it at 25%, and I can't imagine what those with higher have felt. My question is long term how safe is it? I hear that some firmness is better than zero, but long term how much stress if any is it putting on the tranny? Thanks for everyone else's posts here, I'm sure we will be able to figure out and learn a lot. |

I don't understand the physics or mechanics of it, but those who do say that increasing the firmness actually puts LESS stress on the transmission. Evidently, it causes the clutch piston to apply faster with more force, which reduces the slip that eventually wears out the discs.

![]() For silky smooth shifts the bands tighten slower... slipping... excessive slipping will wear the bands out quicker than a fast, firm shift... at least that is my wild guess of the day... LOL |

The firmness might feel diff for diff people. My butt dyno mite say one thing and some one else's mite says something else.Everyone who has one installed will pick their own settings. I am still thinking about the shift points. I have a idea about watch where it shifts for my style of driving. Then setting down and figure it out on paper. Dont want to mesh the eng or trans up. The shift points is where i think the most damage could be done if not thought all the way thru. ![]() ![]() I hope makes since. ![]() ![]()

Go plug it back into the computer, and it will realize it's not supported. It will ask for you email, and for me it took 2 days... I got a email saying to plug it back in, and check for a updated, and it was fixed.
