Angry My Credit Card # Was Stolen !

I was checking my online credit card statement last night and something just didn't look right .
I had a unknown charge for $215.99 to Lego shop at home .com !

Now I do like to build things but I can't for the life of me see myself buying $215.99 dollars worth of Legos!!!

Just thought I'd share this with you guys and remember to always check your statements.

Sadly so true. The gov don't give a damn either, local, state or federal.

This is why I have my account setup to send me txt messages for any purchase over 50 bucks and my bank won't allow any transactions originating outside of my home state unless I call them.

Getting my debit card # (or the card itself) stolen is one of my biggest fears since I moved into the city. I constantly check my wallet when I get back to my car after I've used it.

My room mate had lost his debit card once about a year ago; had $1500 on it. Whoever found it left him about $211 by the time he reported it.

He told me that was the best damn answer he ever heard.

My dad had his stolen a few months ago. He was in the Phillipines when it happened and someone in Toronto, Canada charged $2,000 worth of wheelchairs to his card. But we got it settled right away.

I still have The Card in my wallet ! It's just amazing how people can get the card number or even the Security code number off the back of the card . I always use Paypal online so this just puzzles me .

Ya, that's also why I've only used my card once to buy something online.

I think that's why stores won't accept a credit or debit card # over the phone anymore. Last weekend my dad came up here to visit. While he was up here his friend wanted 5 boxes of 3" 20 gauge ammo, an improved and a modified choke for when he goes pheasant hunting. Gander Mtn. said they wouldn't do it because of a new policy, my dad just ended up writing a personal check for it.
