I have my stock 18 LT wheels plastidipped. I had to touch up one wheel twice now. Once for a flat repair, then again when I got the same tire replaced under warranty at the dealer. It's easy enough to peel off, clean, mask, then respray. I have it down to a science now. Just one heavy coat all over, keeping the can within 6" or so. This gives the smoothest finish. I do the outer rim last, then peel the masking tape off immediately. At most it takes about 20 minutes, and about an hour before reinstalling. I took my time and did several coats the first time around. In hindsight this is pointless IMHO.

So I have been reading about this Plasti-Dip. Teeter-Tottering. And now I am going to do it. One question : IS IT WORTH IT?

plastidiped the tail light bezels this weekend. It literally took me 30 minutes from when I finished my morning coffee to install. Such a simple change, but it looks like it was meant to be this way!

PS- for anyone wondering, I've washed my car a bunch of times with no change to the hood spears. They still look like they did the on the first day
