Should I Upgrade?

I was wondering if it was worth it to upgrade from my v6 to a v8. I know if have asked a bunch of questions about this, I just want to make sure I won't regret it. The one I am looking at is fully loaded minus the sunroof which I have on my v6. I would also have to do something with the fascia so I could my hood on. Should I do it, if so then all I have to do is somehow convince my dad.

If yer young you should be thankful that you have a sweet car. The V6 is very potent, I have no complaints about the power of either my G8 or my charger. Keep in you have a much lower total cost of ownership with the V6.

Bottom line is, if you have to convince yer dad of anything then it's not worth it...

I also have an 05 jeep wrangler I was going to sell too and with that it would be more than enough to get the v8 so it's just him saying yes

If I had a quarter for every time someone asks if they should upgrade to the V8.... I'd have a BUTTLOAD of quarters.....

YES, you should get the V8, that is if you're mature enough to handle the responsibility that comes with all of that power... how old are you?

Not necessarily. V6 is still pretty quick from what I hear, and it's cheaper and drinks less gas. Oh, and insurance is way more expensive for a young person.

Could be several different reasons why the V8 wasn't originally in the picture.

I'm 16, insurance was the reason for the v6 I'm not irresponsible, my dad will let me take the vette out whenever I want and he trusts 100%, I'm not the stereotypical teenager who lets the power go to his head

Convince him. I'm 16 too, and my parents are getting me an SS for Christmas.
