I don't know what this letter says that you have but I hope you don't have a price issue or any other that may land you up in court. That original buyer's order (that you didn't get) is the only proof of what your "deal" is. Anything else that is not signed by the buyer and seller is not a contract.

Not trying to alert you but I'm glad you trust your dealer enough to let him get away with this.

Usually up to the dealer. After checking up with our local GM installer, they DO NOT take the wheels and tires back.

Sorry for any confusion but it still is up to the dealer.

Personally, that is waaaayyyy too much money for wheels and tires.

Just a heads up.
But if the dealer put it in writing then I'm good for keeping the stock RS 20" wheels and tires. If I can get a couple grand, which I should be able to for rims and tires, then I made some of it back.

It states that I am price protected and that the 31,895 that I agreed upon is what I pay.

Ya, 275.00, is that bad? Does it really look good? I can't tell if you're being sarcastic. :(

I wanted undercoating to eliminate some road noise, is that bad too? lol

undercoating=bad unless it's the "right" stuff done by the "right" people. Poor quality coating sprayed improperly leads to moisture being actually maintained between it and the metal. Know what happens then? I just wouldn't take the chance if it wasn't done by a professional that's in the business of doing it; but that's only my opinion.

The $275 is a made up charge for additional profit. They may as well have charged you $275 OVER MSRP. Same thing. You should check with your local AG. In New York, that is illegal to charge that fee.

As far as undercoating goes, that's a choice but I wouldn't do it. Especially if they're charging you for it. What road noise are you trying to suppress? Between that V8 and your tunes, who cares about road noise??

Just my humble opinion.

Eric,

I'm not a lawyer but that document is probably as good as a verbal commitment.

So basically, if you finance with them, they can charge you whatever interest rate they want? Where's that disclaimer?

How do you know that their documentation fee isn't $1000?

I can go on and on but that piece of paper may as well say Charmin on it.

Sorry.

I have my own financing, plus it was the actual owner that signed that letter. He has been good to me so far.... answering all my questions and what not. Plus they have a standard buyers order they make out. I guess I will go harass them again tomorrow and get a buyers order with that price on it. I really think I will be ok though.

I JUST NOTICED $282.50 FOR BILLING AND CLERICAL FEES !!

You have just paid over $500 over MSRP. Congrats! You've been officially hosed.

Seriously, you need to clarify those fees with someone in your state.
