Speeds get up to just under 150mph at the top end of the straight away.
I was driving in the advanced group with some very good drivers.

part2
Nice track and better driving! How many times have you run the course?

Thanks Pete, I run the course 4-5 times a year.
The combination of Lingenfelter power and Pedders suspension parts have made a huge improvement with the car.
The guys driving porsches don't know what is going on when I pass them on the straight aways, and don't know why they can't catch me in the corners.
I'm still waiting on a quote from Kevin to upgrade the power so the ZR1 won't be able to pass me next time.

Yup... LPE and Pedders is a very potent combination.. Don't we all know it..!!!

Very cool that you can run with the super cars.. and stay out front.

That course looks like a blast!! With those speeds I am guessing brakes really heat up, what are you running for stopping power?

Hawk pads and brembo slotted rotors with stainless lines. All out of the lingenfelter catalog. It would be great if we could get some more Lingenfelter cars up here to the track.

I may do some COMSCC events next year.. they do time trials on road courses. here was their schedule for 2011. They get up to Montreal once in the season. Nice thing for me is NHMS is 35 minutes from my house - my home track where most of their events are. I am already a member in this club.

April 21 NHMS
May 2 & 3 Mosport
May 30 & 31NHMS
July 1, 2 & 3 NHMS
August 1 & 2 NJMP - Lightning
August 29 & 30 NHMS
Sept 12 & 13
Watkins Glen
October 8 & 9 NHMS

The comscc posted these member's track records for mosport on their website....
I was doing laps of 1:42 on a partially wet track in the video, and was holding back a little.

That would make for a great site. I was able to meet RS and BadSS in Albuquerque before for 3 LPE cars and it made real impressions

Maybe we need to plan our own event...

Although if we keep showing up at the FEST en MASS... that's more impressive.

My favorite picture of the Fest was all the LPE cars lined up in a row in front of the LPE trailer... 9 or 10 of us... with the hoods open.
