How do I replace the right rear turn signal?

I got an alert today on the gauge that I should check the right rear turn signal, after I signaled to merge into the right lane. I didn't positively confirm it, but I suppose it's reporting it's not turning on..

Assuming the bulb is bad, what kind of bulb do I need? And how do I replace it? Is there a diagram for the location and kinds of fuses, as well?

Thank you very much.

Thank you.

We had a hail storm in my area (NY) and I had to bring it into the shop (covered under insurance). I just got it back and, a few days later, today in fact, the turn signal is out. So, I may just complain to my insurance, since the work is guaranteed. If it fails on deaf ears, I'll talk to the dealer.

It is easy to do. Just open the trunk and there is a Black plastic cover on the right side that has 3 push pins that need to be removed, remove the cover and you can see the tail light sockets. Turn then Counter Clockwise about 1/4 turn and you can pull them out of the lens assembly. Replace the bulb and use reverse procedures to re-install !! It should take about 5-10 minutes for someone that has never done it before.

Yeah, I did this completely wrong. I thought it was those three turn knob things and that was definitely not it. Now I see what you are talking about. There are these things that like screws but there's nothing to "grab" onto. These must be the push pins of which you are speaking. They are surrounded by what look likes a plug, which twists off. How do I remove these push pins???

push pins...u just take a sharp skinny whatever and stick it in under the head of the push pin and lift up.

They're called scrivets and you can pop up the center piece with a small flat head screw driver.
