I am referring mainly to the last long back stretch that mark said was what a Mile long? Plenty of room to stretch the Zl1's legs id think...
I don't know - it's a tough call. The color is definately blue and black. However, I don't know if these indicators are throttle inputs, or acceleration the car is actually experiencing... If GM could comment about that, that could answer most questions I have. There was no green for a lot of that back straight.

That car is very capable of more than 172....but I'm starting to wonder if they geared it for more. If sixth gear was adjusted for fuel economy to avoid the GG tax...it'll be no good for speed unless there's 2+ miles of flat straight to use it.....

But he'd have had to be going WOT to get up that hill on the back-straight...but he could have been part throttle to keep the RPMs at 6200 when going downhill after the overpass...

especially since this is a trackday car. And the marketing is such. My guess is it does over 180 MPH like all the Corvette models

Cool true, but consider this...

Sure...but the question is was he in top gear? or just 5th...hmm

I counted 5th gear, but I don't know for sure. I think that's too short for 5th gear, 3.73s, and around a 0.63 OD (6th for the TR6060 in CTS-V) with big 28" tires. I'm definately interested in learning though

You guys must be a stitch around the holidays/birthdays when there are gifts wrapped and you just HAVE to know what is in the box! I admire the enthusiasm and excitement over the ZL1 - Hell - I am as excited about this stunning car as anyone. But these detailed questions about a car that has not even been built yet are completely premature. Can GM build the actual PRODUCTION car before we need to know what size bolt holds the muffler bearing in place or how fast it will actually go? Relax folks...it is coming.
