Most vendors are selling them for $165 with a $200 core deposit. So total you pay $365, get the new one, swap it out, send the old one back in, then they refund you $200.

Check out the V6 vendor classifieds section: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=143 . Many different vendors selling them, some even have them in stock and ready to ship!

It was noted that most mechanics would not notice the difference but will the diagnostics computer detect the difference? I have read on C5 that the computer will not detect a tune on the V6 but what about the tune plus the ported throtle body? Educate a newby.
