Okay I have a 2011 SS l99 and I am Really getting tired of being lets say Bored so i was thinking should i trade my ss in and get a 2ss ls3 so i can have more fun. i know i didnt think i would Be So Bored of it even tho i love my ss i just think i would Love it more if i gotten the ls3 but my Wife said No i cant drive a Stick and she wanted to drive and She only drove it three times in a Year and a Half that i had it.

Do it, it's so much more fun. Have a friend with an L99 and kept telling me I was dumb for getting the ls3. Funny thing, I talked him into learning to drive manual and once he did I let him drive the ls3 and now he wishes he had a manual and is thinking of the same trade that you are. Do it!

LS3 FTW. There is nothing like churnin through gears in these beasts. My wife tried to talk me out of the stick also. I told her it was stick or nothing in a muscle car.

Bring on the hate from the L99 fan boys....

If you're ever going to drag race with any seriousness.... I wouldn't get a manual trans...

Otherwise, do whatever you think will make you happy.

Love my ls3. It does suck in traffic but it's ok. Have auto's after have this car.

Typicaly for just street driving yes. People have traded in both ways though. LS3 for L99 and L99 for LS3.

It really depends on what you are going to do with it.

Daily driver and no serious power mods then get the LS3 if you are bored.

If you don't plan on drag racing then you'll be happy.

If you're bored, then it's pretty obvious to me.

You have to weigh how bored you reallyare then?

I'll tell you this.... you will get bored the other way too. I always did. That's one reason I just got the auto. I,d get bored either way shifting gears. I wanted to go faster fro the starting line.
