Question For Those With A Line Lock
So I just installed my SLP line lock and I had a couple of questions:
1. Are you having trouble with the line lock not holding the front brakes enough? When I step on the brake pedal, I hit the switch and I give the car a bit of gas and it rolls a little? I know in the burn out box the wheels will spin a bit easier but I've never had an issue where the brakes didn't hold enough. The brakes were bled using a vacuum pump so that's not the problem. 2. I also get the Service Stabili Trac light that comes on and I'm not to worried about that but how many cycles does it take for the light to shut off? When the lights some on, it also shuts off the traction control. Thanks for the help! Joe

when using a line lock, what i found is people don,t push the brake down really hard...the line lock holds the amount of presure that you feed it...i actually push it hard as i can like i,m gonna hit a brick wall..lol then while holding in brake in really hard,i hit switch and hold in line lock ,release brake and smoke tires...when i was learning i hit brake , but not hard enough and that would cause me to roll...some guys actually pump the brake without bringing pedal all the way up...not sure how that works...i push hard and firm..is that what you did and it drifts..yes it will turn on all lights..just like running on a dyno...your front whells are stopped and your rear are going 50...computer does not know what to do..usually after turning car on and off after a 15 minut period it resets,...i have yet to figure how to reset it..but it will go away...but only after turning car on and off...i did a burnout and drove 25 miles/1/2 hr and it never reset.,.but when i turn it on and off after a little driving its goine..also dry tire can make a diff,, wet they will start to spin much easier, and will continue to spin once there going..

Okay so I figured out that it only takes one key cycle and 5 minutes of diriving and the lights turn off just like it did in a Charger I had.
Only problem now is the brakes not holding like they should. As mentioned, I had a line lock on my 4300lb Charger and the brakes held very well. You would think with the Brembo brakes that the Camaro would hold better?

Uh Yeah...LOL, I tried all of that first before I posted. It's not operator error buddy! I'm taking it to the track to see if it holds. I'll keep you guys posted, thanks for the feedback.

Here's a not so good video of my burn out without a line lock. I'm fixing to get a drag set up and I'll be needing the line lock to warm up the tires a bit and save my brakes too.

It has enough huevos....I'm thinking it's the solenoid itself. I have a spare one so I'll give it a shot too.

Maybe the front brakes aren't bled well enough? There's a lot of air to get out on an install like this, and too much left in the system will kill the holding power. Maybe there's some air stuck in the ABS valving?

Ya know, I think I'm going to do that before I change anyhting. I used 1/2 Qt. of fluid but it wouldn't hurt I guess.
