Line Lock installed

I put the solonoid and lines in for my line lock today. Haven't ran the wiring yet.

I was looking around inside trying to decide where to put the primary power switch and light. Trying to find somewhere to put them besides in the top of the console. Just looking for suggestions.

I saw soom nitrous switch photos of switches to arm and power bottle heaters installed in the center consile under the arm rest. I think they used power tapped off the 12volt outlet thats right there to make for easier installation.

What line lock kit? Easy install? Photos please? Cost? This is something i would like to do.

SLP line lock kit. Had a couple of issues with the lines fitting around the shock towers but over all it was an easy install. I have the newer style shock towers with the threaded holes for a tower brace which I think are a little bigger than the earlier ones.

Wiring it up shouldn't be a big deal either if I can just decide where to put the switch and light.

I'll post pictures tomorrow. Too dark to take them now and I'm supposed to be working.

i wired mine to the cruise control, works like a charm...turn on cruise, hit brakes hard while pushing in cancel cruise botton..let off brakes while holding in cancel..give gas -spin tires -let go of cancel button lets front brakes release..your on your way, and no does not affect cc either..

Oops, didn't mean to put it here. Must have been paying attention to work and not the more important Camaro stuff.

Can't see why it wouldn't work on a v6 car. The fusebox and abs block are still in the same place.

Yes, it can, but I really think they either can't read or don't give a rat's ass where they post.

SORRY ALREADY. If I could delete it, I would. If I could move it, I would. Please feel free to if you can. I guess the only time you ever made a mistake was the one time you thought you made one but really didn't.

Once again, sorry if I pissed in your pool.

With all the v6-v8 bashing that seems to roll through here yes we get more than a bit butt hurt. There's been plenty of line-lock threads roll through the drag racing section or maybe a search. I located a wrecked Camaro and got the brake line running from the master to the ABS and cut/flared in some fittings and installed a Hurst. I don't have a light and I use a momentary switch that has a 2-wire plug so I can unplug it when not in use.
