Damn, dude! If you got away with a "hit and run" I wouldn't complain about a door dent. Just kidding.

Any security cameras looking at the parking lot? Otherwise, unless you can see paint on someone else's bumper that matches your Camaro's color, you're SOL.

Unfortunately, that's what can happen in cramped quarters and when you have a nice car, it's double the hurt. You can hit up your insurance and see whether filing a claim will jack up your rates and by how much. Sorry, man.

Next semester, take the beater to school and exact some "revenge".

The term "ghetto" originates from the very early 17th century when Jews were forced to live on an island near Venice.

The term has become synonymous with any overcrowded urban area inhabited predominantly by a single ethnic or racial population.

Regardless - OP, if possible, I would suggest transferring

I mean, were all in the same lot - so it's narrowed down to about 40 cars.

I was hoping someone would be able to give me some tips on how to figure out which one it most likely was.

Heres a pic..kind of hard to get a picture that showcases the amount of damage done... it is rippled on the top half of the door as well.

Sorry this happened OP. Your in a tough spot. What school do you go to that your dorm is in the GHETTO? Does your college have any "more protected" parking lots you could pay for on a by semester basis? My college did and it was some of the best money I ever spent. I didn't have to search for parking and I felt a lot better about leaving my car when I was in class or at the library.

I wish. Savannah College of Art and Design.

Academic buildings and dorms are scattered all around Savannah, Georgia. The Burger King that Troy Davis allegedly shot an officer at, was in walking distance from my dorm last year.

My brother's roommate parked outside the gate once last year and got held up at gunpoint while another guy robbed his car.

Security is absoultey awful. They hire them through Allied Barton. All they do is drive around and ticket people for parking on yellow lines, etc. I put up a flier yesterday offering a reward for any information from someone who saw the accident happen. I got a call this morning, and the girl told me that security was doing rounds in the parking lot and watched the other girl hit my car AND get out of the car to see the damage, and security just drove away.

if savannah GA is anything like Macon GA he has every right to call that place ghetto. It seems like a lot of places are like that in GA.

I drove to Florida in Aug and stopped in macon GA to get some rest. Well after I got there I couldn't sleep bc of all the chaos going on outside.

Sorry for what happened. I would talk to the school and see what they say. You are in a gated building provided to you by the school. I think they should take action into finding things out.
