P.S .........there's no need to deflate the tires, the ( aka UHaul Equipment "AT" [W] meaning wide series) auto transporters drivers side fender folds down in a couple of seconds for exiting and as you can see ( the pic's) that the car fits safely and perfectly. There are a few helpful hints and easy to follow steps you'll need to know regarding loading and unloading the car so that you'll not worry about damaging the undertrim and all will be perfectly well. These pic's were taken recently in the SunShine State, South of Daytona aka Orange Park area..................

That is a sick paint scheme on the Camaro. As a FSU grad I love to see this car rocking the garnet and gold.

Not to thread jack but has anyone seen a RJT with gold stripes? Not like metallic gold, gold like in the pic's above. I have been thinking about getting them but I would need new wheels also. The MS would clash terribly with the gold stripes.

I hauled mine from Fairbanks to Washington down the Alcan behind a Motor Home, then drove it back. Due to rough roads I put 2X12's under my tires so the front end had more room of up and down movement. Got real dirty but otherwise it made the trip just fine.

TY I'm sure the gold scheme nose to tail stripes would make your car the most popular around FSU, go for it.

Yup, will work fine. When you fold down the fender, the door opens, no problem. I just towed my baby from NJ to Florida with my Sequoia a few months ago.

i've had my corvette on one & i even pulled IRPQ's camaro on one last Jan. his is lowered as well. we couldn't get one with the removable fender & it's still possible - it takes a lot more finesse, but it's possible to do. what we did to keep from scraping (with both mine & his cars) was back my truck's rear tires onto some ramps. that raised the tongue & therefore gave a more straight loading angle for the short trailer ramps. one thing we didn't think to do until afterwards was to lay a block of wood (something like a 2x6 just long enough to fit under the front tires) on the trailer where the front tires park/strap down. that should raise the air dam enough to not get caught on the front lip of the trailer.

good luck!

Just towed my 2LT 2300 miles on a u-haul transporter with no problems. I put a piece of 2x12 under each front tire for clearance and put tires in a low spot when loading or unloading.

and note..............that the SS models are slightly lower to the pavement stock than their little brothers. The Wheel & Tire package is a bit wider.....too
