Seriously...those stripes look aweful on that color. Those $4k wheels look worse than the ones it came with.

Its an automatic and a 6 cylinder.

I would not want that car....sorry.
Stripes are horrible I agree with that. You are out of your mind if you think the stock wheels look better. Not saying the ones in the pic are worth the money but they do look waay better than stock. Nothing wrong with it being a 6 cylinder or an automatic either. Think about who the GM accessories cater to...it is not the die hard performance freaks...it is the people who are going to be buying the V6.

As far as all of the opinions, to disagree with me, even strongly, doesn't bother me at all.

I agree with you Hylton, it seems to be working.

I think the stripes are ugly the way they are in vinyl and the gas cap doesn't look good on the silver paint. I'd prefer a polished one. The splash gaurds not my cup of tea but they certainly don't look bad.

As far as the rims, it's my opinion that aftermarket rims are cheap and tacky looking to begin with. They all start looking the same after a while. Kinda like listening to Vanilla Ice. So over played it's sickening. Your rims mostly look better than the car it's on, too over done. It reminds me of the ricer shows we go to. I think these rims are different looking than most anything I've seen. And there is something to be said for original equipment. Especially on main parts. As far as cost, I can afford it and like my dad always said. If it's worth it to you, then it's worth it. Hell I paid 350 dollars for my last pair of sunglasses but I wouldn't pay a dime for a Babe Ruth rookie card if I couldn't sell it but there are people who would pay thousands of dollars just to have one. I don't understand why they want to pay that much for a peice of paper and they may not understand why I would pay that for a pair of sunglasses. Everyones different.

To me the Gas cover does look on the cheap side. But the rest looks about right for a Camaro. Let's not forget, it is a Camaro, not a Vette.

I also think the Hockey stripes are not the way to go...I also want the Feul cap on my CGM but I do not know if it will look nice so I'll be waiting for Pics...

Also,

I'm putting this here because I just like to pass on some info Prices of the Options I got so far from a CDN Dealer compared to our neighbors. first:

Catback Exhaust
$950 USA dealer
$1766 CDN Dealer(WTF)

Splash Guards Set 4
$199 USA Dealer
$493 CDN Dealer

I don't have the Cdn price yet for the:
Air Intake Kit

$450 USA Dealer
$? CDN Dealer--I can just imagine!!!

So I'm trying to get more info from them to see if they're getting these options at the Dealer ASAP before our Camaros get there.
I might be wrong on the prices but this is what I got so far.

Prices do not change I will be taking a trip to the States to put some of these on...

Careful, I think the $950 for the exhaust is without tips. If you want the tips I believe it is more like $1100 installed, although on some dealer's sites I have seen as much as $1,900 which is just stupid. I am very curious to see more pics of this because the stuff that is up shows it as simply an axle-back exhaust not a full catback system. $1100 is WAAAYY too much for just an axle-back.

Every time I find one I half way like their over a freakin grand apeice. BEFORE tires. The 500 and below just look cheap. After selling the original RS stock wheels and tires I'll only be in about 2000 to 2500. I can live with that. Thanks for the links though.

I actually like the gas cap but would not pay what they are asking for and would wait to see it person I think. The stripes are preatty bad in flat black wonder how they would have looked in white or glossy black. Also if they were properly done , it's nothing that could not get fixed if you complain when you take delivery of the car. The wheels are ok nothing special overpriced. If they would have been a factory option I could see them going for a 1000. Theres no way I would pay 4000+ for those. The mud flaps just look plain awfull destroys the lines of the car. At least we have a better Idea now of how some of these things look.

Gas cap looks great but only on a silver car, of course you could paint it. I can live without it.

Wow, the splash guards, did not turn out like I thought, I agree with the other poster... it throws off the lines and style. Maybe it will look better on a black car. I went from definitely to... maybe on the splash guards.

The stripe being off like that doesn't look as bad as most are making it sound. I would think you could have them redo them under warranty if it drove you crazy.

Nice photos, thanks for posting! It really helped me out on seeing the splash guards on the Camaro.

Oh and love the rims but they are way out of my price range.

So it seems that everyone is saying that hood stripe is flat black in color. It looks that way to me too. I am getting the rally stripes, and I was under the impression those have a glossy look.

Am I wrong on this?

Hey bryantman, I just wanted to stand up for GM (and other auto manufacturers) on this one... While I agree with you (I am harsh critic on this topic), maybe I can help explain why they look watered down... I work for an OEM aluminum wheel manufacturer so I have to deal with this stuff everyday. What you see on show cars are 99% of the time completely custom, one-off, machined wheels. They are able to do all kinds of crazy things like reverse draft, ridiculously small fillets, multiple finishes (ie paint w/ chrome), and lots of other things. While these may look nice, most are impossible in a massproduction environment (typically casting of some sort). And on top of all that, show car rims just have to hold the weight of the car sitting on a turntable. Manufacturers issue pretty tough durability requirements (ie, so you don't bend your rim when you hit a pothole, or tag a curb) and they beat us over the head continually to make them lighter and lighter. Add up all of these restrictions and we try the best we can to make a wheel that looks as close to the original intent, but at the same time we have to be able to make it efficiently and most importantly make it safe.

I feel your pain though... ugly, boring wheels make me cringe on a daily basis.
