More important question is should i get ashen grey or black? I go in today at 4:30pm to place my order. They say all options and order programs will be fully up to date. So which color? I would love all the colors in one spot on here that are available for the ZL1.

Nothing to do but wait. So I'll just wait for the MSRP to be
announced. I have da dough down and #1 on my dealers list
so might as well hold off and see if I can add more options.

I feel similarly.... I got one of the first 3,000 camaros made, but shortly after my car was in process, they changed the option and were able to get the polished rims with the RS package. I couldn't when I ordered.

I feel there could be similar things happening. Not to mention, we know the ZL1 is coming in a vert in 2013, so if I have to wait until then, I will. I don't want a vert, but I know they will still be making the ZL1's

Thats pretty much a true statement. Monday or not, we will have to wait and see, personally I think it might take a little bit longer especially since the quick order and traditional varied so much information wise, and CA has different stuff up there with theirs. The Global system lacks depth of details and is still being "pulled together" with what is standard, optional, and the RPO's for same. It's an unfolding situation thats pretty cool to be a part of!

I was told by two involved people that Monday the 7th all the glitches should be worked out. Now, whether or not that means Crys Red Tint is open yet is unknown.
But,.............. the rest of the stuff should be.

Got a call from my dealership, they are getting four. But they are wanting a $1000 down "Non-refundable" deposit. Told them l'll wait for pricing to been anounced first. Not going to get the car if it's much over $50k. Just too many other really nice slightly used cars in the $55k to $60k range.

Well i just saw a 12 gt500 for 54k msrp in the dealership so...Either way Im excited!!

In my opinion, there should be three main options for the ZL1. 1st exterior color, 2nd sun roof, and 3rd rims. That's it! The Six-speed automatic with TAPshift steering wheel controls should not be an option. This fine automobile should have only been made in 6 speed manual. All should agree that real driving is when you (the driver) is shifting gears. I understand that Chevy is trying to sell this vehicle to as many people as possible, but come on. If you can't drive manual than you should not be looking at a ZL1. I know people that can't even spell stick, and you know who you are. Automatic is a mistake created for non drivers. A person who has never driven a stick shift should not be in this elite club of owners of ZL1s.
Just an opinion.
