What is a "Ghost Cam Tune"?

What does a strut bar do? In non-mechanical terms.

What you hear is just a tune ! Not a new cam installed just what is referred to as a " Ghost Cam "
The cable I'm referring to is his EZ Flash Cable .. usually its a $200 deposit and you have to mail it back for a refund. This month its included in the $400 price special .
I'd tell you more but no one has returned my calls so far. Keep ya posted if i ever hear from him.

You know in the past for example and this is just for comparison.

The diesel pickups have chips and bullydog for increased power.

Other cars and trucks have program chips for increased HP

Why is there not something like this for the Camaro?

HOLD ON FOLKS. We have a little confusion going on.

The GHOST CAM offers no HP changes and is a sound item only. They do sound good making it sound like you have a cam when running at idle.

The 13 HP is a tune item the Vince found when messing with the cams. He changes the cam phasing which picked up the HP.

Two totally different items.

Hope this helps clear it up. They are not related.

I wouldn't exactly say that they weren't related...

The tune gives you the extra HP, the "ghost cam" is just an optional feature of that tune. You get the 13 HP with or without the "ghost cam" feature. The "ghost cam" is only a feature that changes the idle quality. Once you give it some gas and come off idle, the cam phasing goes back to normal until you are back in the idle RPM range again.

You can also turn this feature on or off using the cruise control buttons.

Ya, I get that part.. I'm not getting the EXTRA 13hp on top of the original 10hp it was boasting at first. If this was the case, why would you do any other mods if the tune would put you at roughly 263rwhp by itself? Not buying it.
