I'm not trying to accuse. That was just the tone I got from reading your posts.

Once again, I was not arguing and I support the OP, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to be blunt about what will probably happen. You would have to PROVE that the dealer INTENTIONALLY defrauded you (difficult), AND you would have to show a value of an RS package on a USED vehicle (almost impossible since none of the recognized pricing guides give it a value). THEN, when the dealer's attorney argues that it was an appearance package only, and the OP obviously LIKED the appearance enough to pay $24K + trade on the car...It's going to be a tough case to win...That's all I'm saying.

I realize that my opinion is unpopular, and that's O.K. It doesn't mean I'm wrong, it just means I'm the minority.

One thing everyone should have learned from this whole situation.

Be an educated consumer. Do your research, know what you are looking at and decide accordingly.

I hate being this way. Really, I am going to be 62 in January, I (sad to say) remember the day when people had a lot more integrity. You could realy trust people when making deals.

I ended up doing way too much research when I ordered my car. Six of the seven dealers with whom I talked, wanted to gouge me for $10k over sticker. No way in heck that would happen. The one dealer who said they wouldn't do that, was the one who got my order. (and they have taken care of me very will since that time.)

Okay, I saw it still on their site also (last night). So why does this thread continue? The OP in Post 209 said he purchased the vehicle.

So what's the scoop here troops? Even a goofy dealer would take off a vehicle that is sold from their website?

Which puts this whole thread out there. Not implying any one is lacking in integrity here, but, what is the real story underlying this whole thing?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Only thing i can think of is that it is a third party site, as Devryn stated. I can go take a pciture with my car, a newspaper stating the date, and my smiling face if your integrity part is questioning whether I really have thid vehicle or not. Real story post 209

Edit -

I did not see the OP posting he bought the car in this ad. The ad is still up.

I talked to the guy who handles the web for the dealer. He said he was going to change it last week.
