Help with finding offset to get a square stance for Road course

I'm trying to figure out what offsets I will need to square up the front and rear. I will be using 19x11" wheels.

I will be putting on 305/30 r19 tires on all four corners.

Offsets for my stock wheels are: (front) 21x8.5 +38 ; (rear) 21x9.5 +43

I'm going to do some measurements tonight. I want to get the distance between the front hubs where the wheels bolt up, compared to the rear. This should help me figure out what offset I need front and rear to achieve a square stance.

Does anyone have tips or suggestions that will help me determine what offset I need to get this stance?

I don't care if the tires stick out past the fenders. The important factor is that the rear tires square up with the front tires. Yes, I will be using this camaro for the road course.

The wheels I am looking at are the Forgestar F14's. The F14's in 19x11" have offsets that range from +23 to +55

It may come to be that these wheels will not allow me to square up 305/30 r19 tires. If that is the case, what alternative wheels do you recommend?

I like the Forgestar's because they are cheap, light, and look good too.

I already posted this in the tires/wheel section, but I thought I would get more feedback from this crowd.

Appreciate any and all help!

There are a couple great places to start. If you've already posted in the wheel and tire forum user NineBall does great work with sizing rim and tire combinations for the 5th Gen Camaro and can be a great resource. If you haven't already heard from him you may want to shoot him a PM.

On our Ring Spec Camaro we are running a BBS wheel package they did specifically for the Camaro. I'm sure it's available through online retailers, but we ended up calling BBS and they had a specific 20" wheel package that works great for us. 20" is a pretty awful choice for race compound tire sizing, but we did find the R888's worked well for what we wanted them for. For the price our BBS setup is pretty nice, but tire consumable prices if you're actually tracking the car a lot will slowly eat you alive.

Another option would be to call up CCW and size up some 18". As far as compound is concerned you're going to find a lot more useful and economical 18" tires than 19 or especially 20. On the race teams we support 18's are used across the board, although with the monster Camaro fender wells 18's visually look puny. With the right set of 18's you should be able to fit what ever brake package you want, get the right offsets you need, and have a wide choice of tire compounds.

Wheel sizing can be tricky for the Camaro... there really is no one great option. If you're actually going to be racing 18's are the way to go though. Here is a picture of Total Performance Racing's World Challenge 5th Gen tearing it up on 18's.

If you need any help with part selection please keep us in mind! We know what works for these cars on track and really love helping out track day enthusiasts.
