Hockey stripes question

I want to add silver hockey stripes to my car. I would like them to match the OEM silver rallys. Can anyone recommend a vendor who would have a silver that matches/almost matches the OEM stripes ?

Thanks in advance !

I have seen both on a car before, doesn't look good. Just buy the OEM hockey's if you really want them.

I think it looks good. I would try bigwormgraphics. His work has made a lot of people happy on here and I'm pretty sure he's a vendor. As with anything, the bottom line with all mods is to do what makes you happy. I promise that at the end of the day, that's what will truly matter.

Unfortunately Chevy does not sell OEM silver hockey.

You can go to any sign shop and have them make them any color you want.

Go to eBay it's your best bet and they look just as good as the factory ones. I hear a lot of vendors say that the ones they sell will last 7 years. Really who will kept the same stripes on for 7 years and please they will last that long I don't think so. Look at pro stripes on eBay they look good and will last you a long time. At half at what the vendors sell

Other than how long the vinyl lasts, there are a couple of other differences. We use cast car wrap vinyl, it has air channels in it to decreases water/ air bubbles which makes installation easier. Also the air channels allow for moisture/air to escape without putting a bunch of small holes in it, if you let the car sit in the sun and wait a couple of days the bubbles will go away on their own. It's also almost twice as thick (4 mil compared to 2 mil) which helps durability greatly. It is also designed to remove cleaner.

We also make signs, the gloss of the material and overall look is much better with automotive vinyl compared to sign vinyl. We provide free samples of our material so customers can see the quality of the material used and make sure the the color is correct before making a purchase.

Ok thanks for the info. I will still take my chances with the guy on eBay for half the price. Thanks again.

SLP makes silver hockey stick stripes. They're the best-looking design as well, by a long shot. http://www.phastekperformance.com/20...ey-graphic.htm

I have the hugger orange ones on my car. I dunno if they match SIM, but I don't see why they wouldn't. They're a one piece design as well, so they can be tucked into the front nose seam so they look painted on. I can't stand that huge gap the stock GM ones have.
