Also another thing people dont understand is that the LS9 engine by itself is a $23,000 engine. For them to put it in the Camaro it would raise the price of the Camaro a bit.

That being said, the new GT500 is 6K less, and a GT500 motor is over 15K. That is pretty reasonable for an LS3, and is comparable to a 5.0 motor.

We don't know what the 2013 GT500 will be priced at. Rumors I heard were close to 60K.
