I thought it was Number 3!?!?

Got a great story for you guys. I saw my first Camaro on the road today. At about 2:00 pm, my wife, son and I were on Hwy 42 in Florence Ky (13 miles from Cincinnati) heading to Interstate 75 North for an Easter brunch and my wife says "look a Camaro!" It just passed us and in my rear view mirror I see the rear of the Camaro. I lost my mind and did a U-turn and chased him. I finally catch up with him as he makes a left into a Bruster's parking lot. I honk at him and get his attention. he rolls down his window and I say "Number 3!" He says "Number 3?" I just knew this had to be Number 3 because the timing of him coming through my neck of the woods matched. It was not Number 3 but another GM employee with his wife and son. He asked if I would like to sit in his car and I said "Hell yeah!" he pulled over and let me check his car out. He said his name was Doug and that he worked for GM. He and his family had just came from Nashville and were heading back to Detroit. I had seen 3 Camaros at auto shows before but this was my first time sitting in one. I kinda rushed my experience and didn't really get the full experience because for one I was jacked up and 2 I felt like I was kinda interupting their family time and vacation. He was looking for a restaurant and I gave him directions and also told him about our website. He was very nice and i appreciate him taking the time to let me see his car close up. Btw, the interior of the car definitely looked like it had been on vacation because there were cups and trash in the floor. Sorry that I did not take pics, I did not have my camara with me. My wife said she could have taken some with her cell phone but I was so on cloud 9 that pics never crossed my mind at the time.

Glad that you got to experience the car like this, that is pretty cool. Pretty nice of them to take the time out to let you check it out. These GM people driving the CTF's are great! Anyways good for you, and I gotta do this!

Gm employees are pretty amazing. I'd like to see a Nissan, BMW, or Audi employee stop in a parking lot with their family so some enthusiasts could check out their car. We certainly are blessed.

I wish it had been us. But very glad you got the same treatment you would have if it were us.
