Door handle clicking?

Hi.
Recently I've noticed that whenever I open the door handle on the left side of my Camaro, it makes a clicking sound when it reaches all the way out. Is this normal from the key locking mechanism or is something loose inside my door handle?

Hmm, I'm not sure to be honest. I find it hard to imagine it being broken somehow.
I only spent 2 days with my 2012 before I had to leave it again. I'll be back reunited with it on friday so if no one has answered by then I can give you a definite answer.

Makes sense for it to be only the drivers door if its normal cause the passenger door doesn't have a manual key unlock.

Probably, but oh well. It isn't giving me problems other than the sound. I'll hope it'll resolve itself out later.

Open your door, on the side at the same height as the door handle is a grommet, pop it off There you will see a torx head screw, find the right size torx, pull the handle out with one hand and with the outer hand turn the torx counter clock till its all the way then test the handle.

I would just get used to it. I'm not one who likes to mess with it. But if you do wanna mess with it, it sounds like 2SSRS knows how to do it right.

I'll keep that in mind.
I hope that this isn't anything major besides sound.

Could it be possibly caused by someone pulling on my door handle too hard?
