I think the '13 GT500 looks B A A D A S S S ! ! ! and is 650hp fast!!! thats 70 more than the ZL1!! and way much lighter too! 300lbs to be exact.

I dig the GT500 and the Mustang....it's hot and at 650 hp Ford just broke one off in the tookus of GM. All this hubbub about the ZL1 for months and Ford trumped them in a few weeks.

With the exception of the 4th Gens....Ford has ALWAYS been two steps ahead of GM....it sucks because I am a GM fan and will remain so but I just wish they would be a leader not a follower.

Now that said....until both cars hit the track then who knows....the GT500 could be a turtle and the ZL1 might be grossly underrated....but either way we ALL win with this kind of horsepower war going on. I love it!!

im guessing every owner of a stock ZL1 will care when a stock GT500 goes sailing past at the 1/4 mile dragstrip!

I too like the newer GT 500 a lot. On some courses the current model lapped in competitive time to the Z06 so at that weight and hp who knows it may kill the ZL1 at the ring.

+2 I think they both look sick as hell, but to say the ZL1 is totally special and the GT500 isn't is something a fan boy would say.
I bet if this GT500 never came out and was never redesigned back in '05 to what it is now AND had GM come up with this design half of you would say the GT500 looks better.

Also I cannot distinguish a v6 camaro to a v8 camaro, I had a blast destroying one the other day, only to realize it happened because it was a v6.

I disagree, I see so many camaros now a days, yes I see just as many mustangs as well. But the zl1 doesn't look much different than the regular camaro but you can spot a gt 500 from down the road. I think both look equally as good because I don't own either so that's an unbiased opinion.

99% of the people hating on the GT500 are the same people who walk pass it but can't help but take an admiring look at the corner of their eye. Envy breeds hate. You can't mistake a GT500 like you can mistake a V6 Camaro for a SS. In my neck of the woods, no one takes a second look at Camaros anymore. I get them because my SS is feaking loud. The GT500 on the other hand gets looks all the time.

most guys take a 2nd glance at a gt500 because they think there is probably a chick driving it, and maybe she's hot....
