Thanks for clearing up the question though. Anyone else know how these rear mounted turbos are more efficient? Non douche bag responses appreciated!
Remote mounted turbos are inherently less efficient than conventional turbo systems. For spooling purposes you want as little piping pre-turbo and post-turbo as possible and you want to maintain as much EGT and velocity going into the turbine side as you can. For this reason you will have to use a smaller turbo for the same spool with a remote mount. You're also going to see more pressure drop from turbo to throttle-body with a remote system. About the only benefit is cooler charge air temps with the remote mount system, but that's nothing an intercooler can't take care of with a conventional system. Packaging is the only reason I would use a remote mount system. Manifold mounted systems are simply more efficient.

2 million likes, and about half of them are Transformer fans, some of those are trying to sell you something other than a car (porn, nude photos, live XXX cams or rubbish) or, a large majority of their active users are Fans from on both sides that want to argue with ignorance without penalty. I am a fan of the Mustang site, there is a lot of advertising of independent products on that site, or... just "like" wh@res... Thumbs up if you like the GT500 or... me naked...

However many members "like" the Mustang and Camaro Facebook pages usually doesn't translate into actually people that own the current gen car. You should also notice that almost 1000 separate Facebook sites host individual Mustang pages with anywhere from 200-8000 members.. The Camaro has about 30 other sites with 30-100 members...

Congratulations on your new shirt, sometimes it beats doing laundry

I don't think it really matters who is the "ring" winner.... JMO
My first track car was a 5.0 fox body from 1987 when I graduated high school..... $10,000 back then....lol then moved up to a Lt1 then LS1
It comes down to the individual..... When I first bought my SRT8 and took it to the track bone stock and beat a new 5.0 ( only by a tenth of a sec) and we know with a capable driver I would lose that race.... how do you think that owner felt loosing to a heavy 4 door family car bone stock.... ?? isn't It about self-gratification??
after these cars have been out your going to see 1/4 mile and from a roll videos......The guy that looses the 1/4 mile or roll race isn't going to say... Yeah, but my car is faster @ the ring....Im just glad that we have the option of 500+ hp factory options.....I never thought I would see the day....

It was a special that went for like 4 or 5 days since the Camaro page on Facebook has more than 2-million likes. It was on Chevymall but now I dont see the shirt anymore on there. I'm guessing maybe it was a limited shirt for just those days. I'll post a link if I ever find one. I will post a picture of the shirt when I get it either this week or next.

Hate to burst your bubble Pill BUT I frequent the official Camaro page on Facebook all the time and I NEVER see much of what you are talking about on there. All I ever see is pictures of Camaro owners cars from every generation of Camaro and people saying they want one so bad which translates better into future sales. I even saw a Mustang guy say on there the other day that he is a Mustang fan but these new Camaros are the hot ticket right now LOL. And the Transformer excuse is pathetic the Camaro outsells it because it looks better than the Current Mustang whether you or anyone else wants to admit it or not. When a newer car comes out its almost guaranteed to outsell its competition the Mustang will have this advantage in a couple years BUT I dont see the Mustangs advantage lasting very long.

I'm not surprised by anything anyone says these days. Speaking of things people say, how about learning the tenses of the word "lose". Hint; "loosing" is not a derivative of lose. It's losing.
