In all seriousness, one of my former colleagues (I am an attorney) actually threatened a First Amendment challenge to the Maryland MVA years ago. He had requested "JEW." They denied him. He actually IS Jewish, and was able to find precedent suggesting that in another juridiction, a man with those actual initials (J E W) WAS allowed to get the plate. But his point was that the letters themselves were no different, but rather just the actual meaning. He won and was issued the plate.

Here in Kansas 0n my 2007 Canyon reg. cab 4x4 I've had BDAS4x4 (bad ass 4x4) since new. They changed last year to you can only have one in personalized tag in the state with what it says verses you used to be able to have the same saying as long as it was a different county. They said I was the only one with this so I could have it on the new tag and I said sure.

Some women can pull off using "sexy" or "Hot" on their license plate and others can't

You are attractive enough to pull it off, others are not.

About 10 years ago in Alaska my plate said HUMPME, no one ever questioned it.

We have to bring 3 choices and explain what they mean under the saying. They tell you on the spot if they are taken or not as they go down your list. I took < GRNS4GO > Hence the Synergy Green car I have << What did you finally get ?? By the way very nice looking car I like the Pink calipers LOL CHEEKY!

I had to do the same thing in Mass. They told me my first choice was available and I have a doc saying its mine but when I go onto the RMV site it says as of the 1st of the month the plate is still available.
