I tried the app but its a lot slower than just using the remote start on the keys. I might post a video if anyone is interested.

A friend told me a story about remote with a stick.

His B-I-L tells him how he installed a remote start but didn't install the neutral switch. "I won't forget."
As they are leaving the party he says "Watch this!"
And the truck sparks up and drives through the parking lot and across a street and runs into a fence where it finally dies.

I will just use the key.
Read up on new technology out there. YES YOU CAN! You have bad information!

How about I just use the remote start on my key? I leave the heater/defrost on in winter and the a/c in summer, works fine and I don't have to pay for an app or onstar

Hahaha, that's hilarious, but something makes me think you won't actually do that...

If you squeeze for a few seconds while at the front of your car, with the right angle you have enough projection force to hit the window without issue. The next rain storm will wash it off.

The app is more of a party trick. Not as practical when you have it on your keys.

It's FREE and very handy when you lock yourself out of your car. Or want to remote start from much much farther away.
