I strongly urge ANY Performance Car enthusiast to go to this show next year - I have NEVER seen so many one-off and rare cars in all my years.

Mark it on your calendar for next year!

Being that GM has retained alot of historic cars from thier past, did they happen to hold onto any ZL1 or 427 Camaros in the heritage collection?

You could probably buy TEN on the "new" ZL1s for the price of ONE of the "originals"...

How I wish we had!

In fact, Chevrolet did not start retaining the Indy Pace cars until 1978 (Corvette) - to the point that we bought "Festival Cars" to represent the 1967 and 1969 Camaros.

The 1967 was restored and later sold to us by Kevin Kolvenbach of Pinebush, NY and the 1969 was restored and later sold to us by Mr. Milton Bullard of Quinton, VA.

Both Gentlemen approached me about selling their beloved Festival cars to GM for the Heritage Collection - knowing that they would be lovingly maintained for generations to come.

To clarify my last post. This is not a matching number 69 Camaro, it was fully restored. The ZL1 motor is one of original 69 motor that was made in 69.
