Are 2010 Mustangs already on lots?

I owned a 2001 mustang GT and it was a good car, but there were a couple of things that I hated about it. First, they had something called 'deceleration control' which apparently had something to do with emissions. It made the throttle response awful. If you goosed it, it would literally take several seconds for the tac to slowly wind back down to idle. The second thing i really couldn't stand was that you couldn't really go to wide-open throttle very easily because of the peddle design and the carpet. You had to stomp the thing to get the throttle wide open.

I hope ford fixed these problems. Otherwise it was a pretty good car.

I was talking about the rear bumper but just used a picture someone else posted instead of using an original. They circled the anntenas not me......

The mustangs have basically the same shape as they did back in 1979.

Why in the world is this thread still active? Is this really a mustang forum and I didn't get the memo?

I know we've discussed the stang before, but this thread just won't die.

Also, I keep checking the name of this site and everytime I do, it still comes up CAMARO5.

I've just grown tired of seeing so many stang threads when all I really want is to talk Camaro.

Totally agree, dont go into threads you have no interest in discussing! Personally I'm glad that the majority of us can talk about any of the muscle cars or any car for that matter in a respectable recourse

well so far this thread hasn't gotten out of hand yet. But, usually the fanboyism on both sides gets annoying.

This subforum is named "Camaro vs..." meaning it's open to discussion of the Camaro's competitor cars. Even though this site is specific to the Camaro, that doesn't mean we're not open for discussing automotives in general, including the Camaro's direct competition (i.e. Mustang). Almost every other subforum here is specific only to the 5th gen Camaro so there's plenty of Camaro-only talk for those wishing to see only Camaro related discussions.

Most of us here are car enthusiasts in general and try to keep an open mind to all things Camaro and non-Camaro. And that's how the discussions here will be conducted.

I too am a car enthusiast. If I weren't I wouldn't have bothered to stop by and check out the ugly looking new mustang. I was curious. Actually learned to drive in a mustang and drove the wheels off of that thing.

I'm interested in alot of different vehicles. But of course what drew me to this site was the Camaro. My preference.

So this being an open minded forum as you suggest, I posted my thoughts and was ready to move on to the next real thread. Then someone not-so-open-minded chose to call me out for being here in the first place and expressing my thoughts.

Only reason I'm here this minute is to respond to the "spank". But I'm glad to know that I've gotten some attention from the top. Just know that I never intended any dis towards anyone.......but I expect the same.

He "spanked" you because your post was NOT open minded. There's a difference. Your complaining about a Mustang post in a forum that is OKAY to have Mustang posts. It's not that hard to comprehend.
