told him i wanted the hurst short throw for a 2010 6spd manual 6.2L, and he said its $359, i told him it was in the current catalog z11114 for $199, he tried to tell me that was for the 93-02 camaro

then he asked me what page number it was on and what the part number was, and i was like "ummm"

Sorry that it took me so long to get back on here guys...its been a busy weekend. Ray@RDS was nice enough to post the information. I can scan the catalog tomorrow at work and try to post the scan if that helps out.

They type-o is the price. All of the other info is correct, except that the price should be $359.

Its a small world. Sleding is about the only good thing to do in Gallitzin now. The town has really gone down hill pretty bad. We pretty much have to go to Altoona to do anything now.

frst off...thanks to all for the info re:the hurst shifter.after reading the comments,i consolidated the relevant info, and proceeded to summit's website.expecting a hassle, i was extremely surprised to see that summit has now posteed the REDUCED PRICE !!! in fact, the operator(lyle) quoted me the original price;but before i could duel with him,he recanted and quoted me the reduced price which now appears on their website as well.all in all,a great experience thanks to you guys(and summit) ! my latest mod is 1/2 of what i would not have paid ! thanks again, and happy new year !!!

agreed, and thanks again to C5 member ctk1 , i will soon have a $359 shifter for $199 for my new 2012 1ss/rs LS3 i've ordered from Anna at sparta chevrolet

kind of funny actually, b/c i made a big deal out of ordering a LS3 with the factory installed hurst shifter....only to find out that the factory installed hurst shifter is only like a 25% shorter throw compared to this one which is like 40% less

thats what this site is supposed to be all about, all of us helping each other out, cudo's to ctk1

Just tried ordering online, no dice. It adds to cart at $199.95 and then at checkout the price shows $359.95. I did their online chat and was told by an agent named Oscar that the $199.95 price is "next years" price and I would have to call in to get the $199.95 price. I called in and she quoted me $359, told her the website situation and she came back on and said she could do it for $199. So it looks like this was just a price drop that was coming up anyway and we're all a week early

Got my ordered today. Same thing as above, online shows 199, once I added to the cart jumped to 359. Called in and got a right price, no questions asked.

Special thanks to ctk1 for alerting us to this
