This just started happening.
Good morning all..So I listen to my stock radio and all of a sudden the volume bar shows up and I didn't even touch the radio. It was like some one turned it up but nothing happen except that. Any ideas?

You don't have to touch the radio for the volume bar to appear if you have volume buttons on the steering wheel.

Okay I knew I would get some ribbing about this
 ..lol..I don't work for NASA so Im smart enough to know there are volume controls on the steering wheel, but I made sure I didn't touch them either. Its happened a few times.

Is this a recurring issue with your vehicle? Maybe if it is easy to reproduce they would be able to resolve this for you.

This actually happened to someone else, but I can't find the thread anymore. Maybe just try to turn off the radio all together and turn it back on a few minutes later.

If you have the auto volume increase on with speed, does it show volume on the stereo? Haven't looked before to notice, but my volume increases with my speed, maybe it has to do with that setting.
