Again, a post on a non-GM website isn't going to cut it. On the supplier discount site, it specifically states 2008 and 2009 vehicles. This is the 2010 Camaro. I have seen nothing official that states it applies. A post by Camaro Scotty is all nice and all but it's not official.

If John posted it on chevrolet.com or gmsupplierdiscount.com or even in an email sent to all dealers or SOMETHING it would be one thing. But having Scotty post that John said it on his blog will get us nowhere. I'm not saying it's not true I'm just saying that getting a dealer to agree to it is a whole nother ball game. If the discount is available, GM needs to update their damn websites and say it's available!!!

Find a dealer that will take it.... problem solved
Even if the site is updated it does not mean your dealer will accept it.

I got a code from GM on a credit union discount, I mentioned it to my dealer, he said GM won't honor it, I called GM customer service they sent me to another dept that handles sales, they stated that although I have a code and specifically requested it for the Camaro, there are no current discounts or incentives on the Camaro or ZR1. That was about 3 weeks ago.

Hmmmmmm, well thanks for all the responses guys. I guess it is just still in the air. I will just have to wait it out and see how it goes. I just wish GM would release the info all ready because if it was allowed I would get the 2SS rather then the 1SS.

Not from GM, from their dealer. And many of those deals were written long before GM even announced it in January. Like I said before, the dealers can still give the customer supplier pricing. They can sell the car for whatever they want to. But until GM publishes the information somewhere, be it on a dealer site or a public site, many dealers will not honor it. They don't have to honor it anyways. This will just be a perfect reason for them not to.
