How is the ZL1 front fascia available prior to them starting production of the acutal car?? When I got my SS back in June 2009 the dealer didn't even have a part number to order a replacement clip for the A-pillar panel that was loose.

Okay, 31 pages of posts later and I see how you are getting the parts. You guys have some amazing projects going! I still think it is crazy you can order parts for a car that isn't even in showrooms yet...

I'm going to be replacing my front. I might be interested if I can put my orange heritage grill in it.

So I'm going to do something but not sure yet what. Are these not for sale now?

I'm not sure I want to copy a ZL1 when my car is ........ you know .................................................. ................. faster.

?? I don't understand why someone would want to do this.
If its not a ZL1 why put on a ZL1 facia. There are plenty of aftermarket facias that are sweet and easier to install and it won't make the car look like a wannabe, which is what it looks like regardless of what you think.

The ZL1fascia is the best looking one I've seen to date. That would be my motivation. And I'd still have my SS badges on my car. Not worried about the 'wannabe' tag. My car is faster than a stock ZL1 anyway.

And like I said, my fascia is so pitted up and dinged now I gotta change it anyway. When I decide to swap it out I'll go with the best one I can find. Right now it's the ZL1.
