Yes at highway speeds with the windows rolled up its loud. I don't think it sounds like rice though. I haven't heard the Magnaflow in person so I can't really say which sounds better.

i have the Hooker Aerochamber on my TA, sounds nice but i had enough issues with mine to not recommend it. One tip arrived all bent out of shape, not the end of the world they sent me another one but the drivers side tail pipe hanger was welded on wrong and therefore the whole exhaust sits a bit funny where i cannot even put the tips on. i havent decided if im going to have an exhaust shop fix it or if im just going to get an SLP LM like i was originally going to get. Pipe fitment also sucked, the intermediate pipe had a crappy fit to the over axle pipe, made it a real pain to get it to go all the way in. you would think they would test fit the pieces before boxing it...

Maroboy2001 – Are you looking at just adding mufflers or our 80 Series CrossFlow kit (PN:17258)? We’ve never heard of anyone having trouble passing an emissions test when installing one of these kits as long as they have not modified the exhaust from the catalytic converter forward.
