i have had mine on for about 10 months...cleaned it 3 or four times since, since i dont drive my car too much...still looks like the day i put it on

did a buddies rims over the summer and he has driven his quite a bit and they still look great...i believe he's put about 5k or more on since summer so that shows how great plastidip holds up, really does the trick instead of hundreds of dollars for powdercoating

simple, spray paint requires sanding and all that and will have a smooth finish to it and to the touch will feel like your cars paint.

the plastidip on the other hand is a rubber coating, when you drag your fingers across it it will feel like a grip on a tool or something similar. it will feel like rubber and be harder to rub your fingers across. when done right it appears smooth and pretty but in the end its rubber haha

so i finally bought the white plastidip spray and i filled in the mail slot area with it. it came out ok, i couldn't get it to set evenly. some of the spots look runny. i also had a really hard time getting the lines to not look like they are peeled off.

i didn't wait too long to remove the tape but it still peeled off some of the plastidip.

anyone have any suggestions or tips for me?

I have heard that you need to peel it off while the plastidip is still wet. That is supposed to give you much cleaner lines.
