trifecta can tune...not sure if its required yet. i've got my E85 data log being looked at right now by vince.

the original tune i installed/ran with was my gas tune...still waiting to do a data log and have him check that as well. but so far...a tune is NOT required.

Well my Mace arrived today (1"). Looks like it was mailed 12/21/11.
Longer bolts (just 5, right?), and gasket maker incl.

Was hoping to paint the IM while its off, but with all the coats and curing req. by the high temp paint, it would take 2-3 days. I might just check the cost at the local powdercoater.

Now I just a need a day off while the wife is working to keep her out of my hair-

No tune is required for the insulator. Only time a tune is required is if the mod skews the current tune. The insulator does not affect anything but give you more torque

About 2 weeks sound about right from Australia via air mail.

Ventmaster, it's much easier if you use another factory gasket instead of the gasket maker. The gasket maker can get pretty messy and require time to cure.

yeah, should only need 5 bolts (supplied) as you'll be reusing one of the OEM bolts...did it come with a "how to"?

There is no high rpm loss. The dyno graph shown on hapisok show what look like a big drop is because of two different rpm variance from two different day put together. Also, dyno dynamic current dyno work a little different than your traditional dynojet. I've done runs on our dynojet for mace with zero loss anywhere in the powerband

I was wondering if tune could get even more performance out of the insulator.

Thanks for that tip! Do you mean 2 gaskets, one between the IM and insulator and a second below the insulator?

Thanks again-

No "how-to" incl. Any other input, tips , suggestions would be very welcomed.
I do have a copy of the GM how-to posted earlier by Bmore and printed off MACE'S instructions for install "to suit the Holden VZ-VE".

The only comparison I care about is if width makes a difference.

O.K. You're saying re-use the orig. and get 1 new. Correct?
Do you happen to have a part #? My Chev dealer is saying that gasket is only available as a kit. Thanks!
