Hi Everyone, sorry if this is a dumb question: Who exactly said that May 6th would be THE date that the cars are unveiled? Was this for Canadian dealers or US too?

My salesman told me May 6th is the unveiling or whatever they are calling it.

Several Dealers including mine said May 6th..... It's 2 weeks away so we'll see what happens!

It was suggested by GM.

My salesman called me and asked if I'd bring my Camaro back on the 5th or 6th to show on the day. He said Channel 10 would be there.

Of course I told HIM my car wouldn't be here by then and he argued with me and said it would but apparently I even know more than him about THAT. And get this, he asked if I could come down and answer questions about the cars since I know so much about them.

Hendrick at Cary here in NC having event on the 6th - expect lots of local camaro clubs and owners as well as the number 1 and 2 car.

Amazing how much you pick up from this forum.

Folks at work and at dealer wonder where the heck I get all the info from

May 6th is the NATIONAL roll out of the Camaro. ALL the dealers are to have a Camaro on their lot for that day.

Suppose to be covered by news media in the local areas.

Clubs should contact their Chevy dealer and help promote this.

My Dealer in Roseville, CA is going to have the Camaro Generations Car Club of Northern California bring several of its Camaros to the Grand Unveiling on Friday, May 8th. So he is doing it a bit later than other dealers.

My dealer couldn't tell me an exact date for sure but said the car would arrive this week or next, but regardless I could not have it for a while because of blah blah blah...

As long as I get it by or on the 6th, I won't go into a mental meltdown.
