Very limited tire selection to choose from.

Why is the tire selection for the camaro ss so difficult to choose from? I don't get it? Is a 20" wheel so uncommon? The choices we have are basically about 5 different tires, and they are like $300 + a tire. What a ripoff.

Be glad you didn't order the 21" wheels.

Those, at one point, were 480.00 EACH.

I remember it was going to cost 1800.00 to replace them.

Did you bother to look on tirerack? Sure, there's not that many choices in the stock sizes, but they are not $300+ a tire.

my new rims are 10.5 rear & 9 in the front. You would think all tire companies would like to jump on making tires in this size because of how many people customize cars like this.

I agree. BUT, the tire shops I go to ALWAYS have to order them. I'ts still a very small amount compared to 95% of the vehicles on the road having very common sizes. 20" on a car with a wide tire is NOT common at all. Getting more so I guess but still not.

gotta pay to play, especially since you're going wider.

yeah, my dumbass fault! before I ordered the rims, I should have researched tires. I just figured slightly wider would mean an extra $20 bucks a tire or so.

You still should be able to find them for under $300ea...like around $1000/set. Toyo, Vredestein, Nitto...maybe Atturo or Nexen if you wanted cheaper. Plenty of sponsors here sell them.

Very interested in Vredestein. I keep reading fantastic reviews on them. My nest tires may be Vreds

I like my perelli's but at $500 for 295 35 20's, that's not an option. Will either be nitto or vredastin unless I can find a better deal.

I'm running 305 Perellis currently, but you're right, the price tag is wicked. I will have to find a better alternative next time. Really hoping our tire shortage is relieved by then.
