You need to read more. Yes it is and it takes about an hour and a half.

Hey Mace.. I just ordered. Order number 2200. In the comment box I stated *25mm Insulator* MI1623. I want to make sure I get the right one.

I will make this work with a Vararam.

Just read up. Its 7 or so simple bolts. If you think that is hard then this mod isn't for you. I really don't want you screwing something up.

I will post up pictures in 3 weeks or so when I get my Mace Insulator in the maill.

It won't work plug and play. I will do some modifications to the Vararam and it will fit. I will post plenty of pics.

I am thinking about drilling out the rivets that hold the horn tube to the intake. Modifying the horn hole so the horn can sit higher on the intake. Does that make sense?

So the intake will still sit on the radiator but the horn tube will be higher and inline with the intake manifold.

Edit: Here's a crude 5 min paint drawing. This is the side view of the Vararam intake...

If you can get it to work with the Vararam there will be lots of thankfull people (including myself) but I don't see how it can be done!

sounds good ...I wonder if there is a way you can just modify/replace the red hose it comes with something that has more of an angle, and is reinforced

Not a good idea.. It needs to be INLINE with the intake manifold. You lose HP when there is even a slight angle because the air flow gets disrupted.

Vararam used to talk about this.

Where in the hell is victoryred!?? mace sent him 3 size weeks ago to test and we haven't heard from him since.

I already tried to fit my vararam with the 25mm and it will not work. I believe 6mm should work though.

Maybe other commitments have popped up for him, as I've tried contacting him on a number of occasions to see how his going but no response :(

If he can't do it I'm easy just let us know, at least I and a number of others won't be waiting.

By the looks of things a test fitment of our insulators and Vararam is bound to happen

The funny thing the Commodore/G8 vehicles here requires a manifold insulator to actually fit a Vararam style of OTR that we're developing atm LOL
