How much off of a 2011 2SS?

There's a 2011 2SS/RS within a reasonable distance of me. MSRP is $40860. Sale price listed on the dealer's website is $34412.

Only reason I even started browsing for deals is because my dad got his GM card topped off from $100 to $2000 and we got an extra $500 rebate on a Camaro.

I really don't even care that is is an SS since I don't even use the power of the V6 right now, but it's a pretty sweet color combo (white with orange stripes, orange interior) and it's an LS3 (no way I would buy an automatic) plus it has the ground effects package on it.

When I bought my car it was the only V6 with manual trans within 100 miles. Looking back I wish I would have found one with the RS package, and I wish I would have gotten the orange interior. I also would have liked orange exterior, but white with orange stripes is pretty sweet.

Pretty sure I'm not going to pull the trigger though, but I did contact the dealer to see what the difference I would owe would be after trade in. I have 18" wheels and tires for winter that wouldn't work with the SS's brakes, so I'd instantly have to buy new tires unless they still have the car in late Feb. when the GM card top off and extra $500 expires.

I'm pretty far ahead on payments so it may not add that much to my loan. Plus I used $4200 of GM credits when I bought my car, so adding them together gets me a total of $6700 of GM credits in a way.

Might make more sense to wait a bit and order or look for exactly what you want. Seems like you settled the first time and this trade-in isn't exactly what you want either.

$6900 off msrp is the largest actual discount I have seen on a 2011 SS coupe and I have been browsing for deals for a few months.

The 2012 at classic chevy includes 2000 competitive lease cash and 3000 gm card bonus top off. So actual discount is around 2300 off msrp. Yes, used 2011 2ss's you should be able to find for 30,000 or less. Also, a 2011 convertible 2ss can be had for around 32,000, so I guess not very many people are very interested in those.

Went out to Anson Texas to pick a fully loaded 2ssrss for 29400. Another salesman sold it before we got there.was talking to salesman he said there starting to pick those things out at auction for about 28000 fully loaded and that their are tons coming up for auction. They should be getting some in later. We left our list of demands and our phone number. He said would take a couple of weeks. I can send you the guys info if needed. It's a small new dealership. They also have a couple 45th anniversary editions there with that new color. They look kick ass.

Ohh and that price is for a 2011
