I don't see an oxygen sensor extension cable. Did it come with your headers. It comes with the Kooks...just askin'.

No, those come separate from race tronics. When I ordered from Erik he added them to my order for $30. Everything shipped to my door was $679.

That a good price.. What about bolts?? I would guess they come with gaskets, but I would use OEM for headders.. They hold up better..

There is nothing you can say that can convince me that the decision to buy an OBX header is an intellectual one or morally correct one.

No one is looking for moral support. Someone is happy with their purchase and is letting others know there are other options out there......you can't seem to handle this logic. Maryland is letting readers know the differences between the two without the high blinded horse statements made by you. FYI "intellectual one" there are plenty of cheap generic foreign products on your beloved Canadian/Mexican built CHeeeevy aye! I changed my trailing arms a couple months ago.... You know what was stamped on them oh "high moral and ethical one"????

OP already said he skipped Stainless Work (Chinese Stainlessworks) because they were $100 more.

No head bolts, you can use the factory ones. I used the oem metal gasket. My car only has 2600 miles on it, so it was still like new.

Yea, grinding down the weld to smooth the transition from the flange to the pipe is great. But, it appears that the pipe was also ground down as well in that area, especially the left one in the photo. This was possibly done because the pipe was slightly oval after bending, then filled in with weld between the round flange hole and the oval pipe. If you were closer, I could use an ultrasonic gauge to measure the thickness on the pipe. Hopefully, for your sake, very little material was removed on the pipe. A lot of thermal cycling will occur at the pipe and flange. If a too much was removed, or removed unevenly, there could be a potential for the metal to fatigue at a faster rate and crack. Maybe that's why the pipes have a thicker wall (as someone posted early in this thread), to allow material to be removed (lol). The color of the headers now look great on your car due to the heat cycles. Good luck with them and continue to call it as you see it.

Thanks man. It's just a crappy cell phone picture, had I known I was gonna be under so much scrutiny I would taken better pictures. It wasn't ground down that much, they just smoothed out the welds.

Maybe because they are polished? I'm guessing. It kinda reminds me of my dads harley with chrome pipes that turned purple.

Yes the BBK are made in the US. They are in California. Is that for a stainless set? If so, its a great deal!
